Dog lover, no doubt

I seriously cant wait to get a dog :) I want to get one now when im still "young" Not like what my parents say about getting a dog when you start working. I mean whats the point in that?? The transition from being a youth to an adult is scary, I just want a dog (friend) through it you know???
